About me

I qualified with a First-class Honours degree in Integrative-Relational Counselling from Middlesex University.

My particular interests include issues arising from boarding-school education, which is an area that I have specialist training in, and in all forms of addiction, including addiction to substances, eating, shopping, the internet and sex. As an adopted person, I have had extensive experience helping birth parents, adoptive parents and adopted people. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness and relaxation techniques into my practice to help with stress management.

Continued Professional Development:

  • Workshops run by Boarding School Survivors; and training on issues relating to boarding-school education (Dorset Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists).
  • Addiction workshops run by the Meadows, Arizona and KeyStone Centre, Pennsylvania.
  • Mindfulness training for counsellors (Dialogue Consultancy).
